Hello!...Thanks for being here :thanks:

This baby Giraffe was almost 6" tall.
Made with Cold Porcelain...this clay is beatifully soft, clean & very easy to knead...(that's the secret..knead the clay as you work on the piece).
Used one styrofoam ball for the head & one for the body...the neck & legs are solid clay.

All the cold porcelain clay I work with...I make it myself.
The colors I am using for now are the small bottle ones like...FolkArt acrylics...although for the white or black color I started with oils until I get the mixing right...hehehe...

Hope you like her...:blowkiss:

"I am just a lousy bum, searching for the unkown the crumb."

RHCP, "Meet me at the coffee shop"
Actually, as she was drying, she started to tilt to one side...so I let her dry laying down on foam...when she was dried, I added her brown hooves so she was fine after that...and it did't fall over in all the time I had her..
:thanks:

:thanks:

The colors I use for now are the little FolkArt acrylics...they already come the color/shade I need & all I do is add the color to the clay and knead it well until it mixes into the clay all over.
See my new journal entry...I just wrote some info on Cold Porcelain.

Oh, Schadenfreude, huh? What's that, some kinda nazi word?

Yup, it's german for "happiness at the misfortune of others!".

Happiness at the misfortune of others. That IS German!
